The rafters are finished on the outside with maintenance and rust free aluminium powder coated capping pieces.

The types of timber which can be used are numerous with two popular choices being dark mahogany or light coloured Canadian Red Cedar. The timber can either be stained allowing it to keep its natural colour or be painted in any colour you choose. The roof capping pieces can then be powder coated to match the colour of paint chosen.
