A sunlounge is similar to a conservatory in that it has windows around its walls. It differs from a conservatory in the construction of its roof. A sunlounge has a roof constructed of timber and then tiled or slated to match the roof on the existing building. This differs from a conservatory which has a translucent roof. The internal ceiling of the sunlounge can either be finished in pine tongue and grooved timber or plastered depending on personal choice.
Either u.P.V.C. or natural timber windows can be used in a sunlounge.
Extra natural light can be gained in a sunlounge by the fitting of VeluxTM roof windows. These are windows which are designed for use in tiled or slated roofs.
These are a few examples of Sunlounges built by Europass.
